OB Addy, the founder and leader of I & I was born and raised on a traditional "house of drumming" in Ghana, West Africa, which meant being at the heart of an extraordinarily rich musical culture. His background and training are in ceremonial West African drum and dance, but his first musical love has always been reggae, and his dream to combine the Afro-Caribbean reggae rhythms with the full tilt African drums of which he is a master.
